5 amazing projects i supported to reach their goals

You already know that my job is giving advice about the crowdfunding world, and that's what I do inside this blog.

I'm really passionate about my job because I have the possibility work with brilliant and creative people, each one with a different project and story!

So after writing a lot of advice on my website it's time to talk about the creators who followed them and what they achieved.

I'm so proud for getting the chance to work with each one of them, today I'm going to talk about 5 of them each one coming from a different crowdfunding category.

1. ASTRONIC WATCHES

One of the campaigns I'm most proud of is Astronic Watches which managed to raise $100.000!

This campaign had a huge success and I got the chance to help and interview the creator Kris! Astronic Watches is a luxury watches campaign, which interests only a niche of people passionate about it, however, Kris really did a great job and collected a lot of interested people!

I was very involved in the creation of his campaign, from the pre-launch with the community creation and throughout all the live campaign, that was a huge experience for me and so glad I helped this campaign!

A little background about this successful campaign:

Atronic Watches, is a new high-end watch brand from Hong Kong, Kris, the creator, which is not new to the watch industry, has been in the Swiss Watchmaking world for over 20 years now, and he has learned a lot of industry secrets, enough to start its own timepiece collection.

Where is Astronic Watches now?

It was such a pleasure and a great discovery to work with such professionals as Kris, now he's actually shipping his campaign rewards and started his e-commerce!

2. BALLDO

This is for sure one of the craziest and weird adult campaigns that I've helped so far, I had so much fun working with Balldo that raised more than $100.000!

Jerry and Elizabeth are the dream team behind the Balldo project, I'm so proud of my client's achievement and glad they followed my advice to build their campaign. Other than smashing their initial goal in less than 10 hours, they also managed to gather more than 1.400 backers passionate about their project.

I already gave a hint of what Balldo is about, essentially we're talking about a sex toy, first of you may already know that adult kind of campaigns cannot be run inside of common Indiegogo categories, in fact, there is a special category inside the platform called ''after dark''.


The main reason that led Balldo to its amazing goal is a good Community, all of that was thanks to our ''behind the scenes'' work, with the creation of a landing page and posting it inside several different Facebook groups with the highest engagement in this field. 

But that's not all, because they made a video that went viral on youtube, and of course, that contributed to generate a lot of backers, since it is an easily laughable product, it managed to gather a lot of people with a really low cost, but keep in mind that this is not always like this!

Where is Balldo now?

Balldo is being featured inside important magazines like Vice, Wired, Cosmopolitan and more and it has become a viral sensation, it also has a very active e-commerce!

3. FRESCOPOD

Another super-cool client's product I've helped to get funded is Frescopod (now Savepod) this amazing sustainable coffee-pod machine managed to raise more than $200.000!

Frescopod campaign, created by Yanni, managed to reach the goal in just 2 hours!

Another great thing about this campaign is the great work that my client Yannis has done with his community. For this reason, I guided him mostly during his launch phase, and a little bit on the final part of his pre-launch. We established the $1 reservation strategy to gather a lot of people interested.

Well, this was a success indeed and I'm so proud to see the Frescopod team gain this amazing goal, I also had the pleasure to interview the creator and ask him important questions about his successful campaign, you can check it out here!

After funding their successful campaign and creating a huge community, Frescopod is almost ready to send their backers their rewards and opened a pre-order page to get your own machine.

4. EBREATH

One of the first campaigns I've helped and I'm so proud for the result achieved, both for me and for its creator Thibaut, his product eBreath, which was 100% funded in less than 10 hours, smashed the amazing goal of $135.000 with his innovative face mask during his first ever campaign on Kickstarter.

The path was not easy, as I followed Thibaut almost from the beginning of his journey, we had to face and solve a lot of problems such as not having a well-established roadmap or a landing page that was not built properly.

After a lot of fixing and optimizing, challenges were defeated and we managed to achieve numerous goals. First of all, Thibaut collected around 10.000 emails during two/three months of the pre-launch phase, then he launched, and having kept their audience warm and active he managed to smash $21.000 in 24 hours on Kickstarter.

Where is eBreath now?

After sending out the eBreath masks to backers, they managed to do an updated version of them and after that they also opened an e-commerce selling their products!

5. CLEEP PRO

Last but not least, another cool campaign I've helped is Cleep Pro an amazing wearable action camera, created by Giulio, which I helped with the pre-launch and creation of the campaign.

But he was not new to the crowdfunding world, in fact, this was his second campaign, he choose to launch on Indiegogo because of its community of people passionate about technology, and he was right because they raised almost $22.000!

In the first campaign, they made a lot of mistakes, they didn’t invest in pre-launch and preferred to invest money when the campaign was live but that was not good. During the last launch, thanks to that experience and my support they really understood how to create a community, how to create a Facebook group to communicate and engage with people not just with emails.

Of course, the most important thing is creating a community as you already know, so they did and managed to reach this successful goal,

WRAPPING IT UP

This is it for today, I'm really really proud of my clients and what they achieved so far, they're just a little part of all the creators I've helped so far, but actually they're the most incredible I've ever worked with!

They're all satisfied and happy with their successful campaign and are actually planning to launch new ones! Yes, crowdfunding success could be addicting, and I will be there to support them and new creators.

Just remember how much important is the community creation and pre-launch only in this way you'll get to meet your goal.

A crowdfunding launch requires a lot of hard work and sacrifices, but I'm sure that it will be worth it in order to start making your dream project come true.
